they had appeals to children and adults.. but you are right, muppet show was to be more of an adult showbut i think the stuff being mentinoed in this song is just sign of the times.. wasn't a big deal to smoke a cig, now groups attack your it and thus it's avoided in many arenas.

The muppets weren't really geared towards children more of the older teenager-adult age. Plus most of the musical acts like Alice Cooper, Johnny Cash, and John Denver kids are gonn think are boring and not pay attention.

but at the same time this show wasnt targeted towards children, it was a show that tried to capture the adult audience too. And you cant really be too critical of it since it was almost 30 years ago

Your foul language scares me, I come from Kenya not America. I was suspended from school once when I was 13 and a half years old but I found the solution to alcohol much much later. I was just trying to suggest what is good for our children, no need for name calling. The song remains nice and I love it.
